I had to run an errand after Piano yesterday. It was one that took me to a place that, among other things, sold Beauty Products, so as a bit of consolation for having to run an errand so late in the day, when I'd rather be at home getting my dinner ready, I bought a new nail varnish. I may not go for pedicures (Partly because I can't stand to have anyone touch my

The color is called "Wild Strawberries" but in the many times I've seen wild strawberries I have never seen them exactly this color (I used to pick wild strawberries every summer as a child - we had the REAL wild strawberries, the ones sometimes called fraises des bois growing out in the field behind our house. I say REAL to differentiate them from an imposter species called "barren strawberry," which DOES NOT taste like strawberries)
I also bought some of those remover-impregnated felt pads to try. I was skeptical about them (especially the claim that one pad would do ten nails) but using one on my old pedicure I discovered they work like whoa. I might even try wearing the glittery polish again ("Rockstar Pink") that was so miserable to get off before. They're kind of expensive but they're a lot less messy and a lot less of a pain than soaking cotton balls in remover.
