First, these are a few blocks from the Bento Box quilt I'm working on. The fabrics aren't quite as matchy-poo as they are on some of my quilts, but I think I can make it work.

This is actually a "take 2" of this pattern for me; I did one several years back (photo here ) but decided the colors didn't work for me, so I donated it to Project Linus, figuring maybe there was a kid somewhere who would like those colors.
I also finished the first of the socks I'm making for my mother's birthday. I'm using the Caledonian Mists pattern. It doesn't show up so well in the photo but you can see the slipped "loop" in the finished sock. (you do a yarn over, then knit two stitches and slip that yarn over over both of them to make a little slipped loop).

By rights, I should start the second sock this evening...my MO on socks is usually to start the second one as soon as the first is done (to avoid the dreaded Second Sock Syndrome) but I admit I'm tempted by another project.
Ever wonder what an "embryonic" amigurumi pony looks like?

PINKIE PIE YOU SHALL BE MINE.
I found the floofy pink boucle that I knew I had stashed away somewhere. I think it will work for her mane and tail. (I definitely wanted a Happy Pinkie with her puffy permed mane, and not Sad/Crazy Pinkie with her mane all straight and emo-ish.). Also, I've since found a truer blue felt that will probably work better for her eyes; the one in the picture is a little too turquoisey and is closer to what I used for Fluttershy's eyes. (Not shown in photo: stuffing.)

The colors are a good match. And yes, floofy mane!
