Some quilt blocks

Another thing I've been working on are the "Bits and Pieces" quilt blocks. (The block pattern is not distinguishable by me from one called Puss in the Corner, but whatever.) This is yet another example of me never meeting a novelty fabric I didn't like:



Most of those fabrics are ones from the "Backyard Baby" line. I'm particularly fond of the print used in the centers of the middle blocks - it's a print of maple samaras. (We really need more fabrics showing the fruits of trees or grasses or other plants. I mean, there are lots of fruit-fruit, as in edible fruit, prints, but there are a lot of fruits of trees and also of grasses that are very interesting and decorative...)
