Somthing finally finished

I finished these late yesterday evening. They're just a simple pair of socks, made of Opal Rainforest (the color that is allegedly the giraffe color, though I think it's darker than most giraffes I've seen):



I think my plan for this month - I alluded to "Stashtober!" earlier - is going to be to try to finish a few of these stalled projects. I might pull the sleeve for Potter out this evening and see how much I have to go on that. (I also have the second sleeve, assembly, and then the collar to knit...) I like the idea of finishing a few things before I start anything new.

I have also pulled out the Wisdom Poems sock and restarted it; the second sock now has a heel turn on it. It's a splitty yarn and I think part of the problem was I was trying to use it as a knit-and-read project, and that doesn't work so nicely with splitty yarns.
