Argh.

The stupid pop-up ads are still popping; I think it is because I denied one of the Windows Service Pack updates its chance to load (but it said something like, "Back up the entire contents of your computer NOW" and that scared me).

So, the next item to pay for will be a cleaning and destruction of stupid spyware. Argh.

And as for the Pontiac G6: I am quite sure it was designed by a Navy man. This is because it has knee-knockers* on both the driver and the passenger sides where you get in and out.

I will have to be very careful not to trip myself on the driver's side one lest I wind up splayed out on the parking lot. That would be very undignified.

(*No, I am really not that smart and well-traveled. All the Navy slang I know comes from watching NCIS.)

So it was a mostly wasted day. Tonight I have to write the ecology exam I was planning to write today, plus get in an hour's worth (at least) of rewriting a journal article I hope to submit soon.

You might want to try running Spybot Search & Destroy. It's a free program you can download. You could then run it while you practice the piano or do something else. I use it periodically on my computer and have found it very helpful. It would at least save you some money and possibly fix your issues.
