I've really loved all the comments on the Shakespeare post I made. (I do think I am going to start with Hamlet - I am quite sure I can either borrow or rent the Branagh version, which I want to see). I am thinking perhaps I will interlard the comedies with the tragedies, just to keep things from being too heavy. So maybe Hamlet first, then perhaps Twelfth Night (darn, if I had been thinking, I might have been able to do that first, closer to the actual "Twelfth Night").

And I will read some of the sonnets. I have read some in the past; the one I remember best (of course) is "My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun..." (At one time I even had it memorized). I also know "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day..." but I think those are the only two with which I am really familiar.

And Lynn reminds us that this is National De-Lurking week. So if you're a lurker, please do leave a comment - on the Shakespeare post, if you have any thoughts or suggestions, or on any other post. It doesn't have to be a profound comment. Heaven knows I've left my share of not-profound comments on other blogs. But it's nice to know that people are reading, even if they do not comment regularly.

It was just too, too ironic that this post was left commentless.

So I had to fix it.
