I couldn't find my favorite version of this ever (Mel Torme singing it when he was a young, young man, with such a sweet earnest voice), but this is a pretty good substitute:
I never got much into the party scene for New Year's Eve. In fact, I will probably be in bed by 10:30 tonight. But it's still a nice thing to think about.
Tomorrow it will be a new year. I hope 2009 is a good one.
