The bad news: I will never become famous for the research that I do.

The good news: You will never have to watch me rapping about it. Unlike the people involved with the LHC:



Okay, so maybe that's kind of funny and kind of endearing, but it's also a lot of kinds of wrong.

(And even if you don't think the above is lots of kinds of wrong, trust me, you do NOT want to see me rapping. *I* don't want to see me rapping. I might...with lots of persuasion, some of it possibly of the caffeinated variety, do a Gilbert and Sullivan-esque "patter song," but never, ever a rap.)

Patter songs are great fun. The Matter Trio, which has a great part for a woman, is wonderful.

I published before I finished.

I could see a lot of the names of species working as some of the triple rhymes in a patter song. Please do it someday.

But the problem with being too funny is that the audience loses track of the information and get distracted by the delivery.
