Observed at the post office lot yesterday: a shiny, new Cadillac Escalade. License plate was one of those vanity-deals. (I have "issues" with vanity plates but I won't go into them here because I realize it is just me being a crank). Plate says, "UNDERPD," which I can only interpret as meaning "UNDERPAID."

Um, person who thinks you're underpaid? Maybe that plate on a new, giant, expensive SUV suggests differently? Maybe next time you should go for "OVERSPNT"?
