Today is "Louie, Louie" day.
Yes - today we celebrate that catchy tune with the incomprehensible lyrics that generations of college students assumed were smutty, but were actually about a sailor missing his girlfriend back in Jamaica.

(Why April 11? Because that's the day when Richard Berry, the tune's author, was born. In 1935. Were Barry still alive, he'd be the same age as my dad.)
I love silly fun things like this. So if you can play those famous three chords, get out your guitar (or your piano, or your ukulele, or whatever) and have at it. (It's A-D-Em, at least for the Kingsmen's version.)
