A few sock pictures for today.
I finished the first of the Child's French Socks (from Nancy Bush's vintage socks book). I used Schaefer Anne in a colorway called "Peter," which I assume is so named because the color is similar to the color of Peter Rabbit's coat in the Beatrix Potter books.
It's kind of hard to get a good picture of the sock, partly because I take my pictures at 0-dark-30 before I leave the house for work
Here's a front view; the citron pattern running down the front looks almost cable-like in this shot.
I know that photo is dark, but it's an attempt at showing the stitch patterning without flash washing everything out.
And the newest socks?
Undulating Ribs from the Interweave "Favorite Socks" book. I'm using Shibui Sock! in a colorway called "pebble." I really like this yarn - it feels good, it knits up well, the colors are interesting. I have to say I think this is my new favorite sock yarn (which is good, because I have a couple other colors of it in my stash).
