Okay. Every REASONABLE obstacle to my getting a new hot-water heater tomorrow evening (late afternoon, whatever - as the guy said, he's working a reno in Ada so he has to come back down here to work on my house) has been removed. He's checked out the situation, he's given a list of stuff to the Lowe's that he needs to bring it up to code, I've signed the new contract, I've signed over one of my kidneys written a check for the additional costs, the Almighty Liaison has told me he's coming.

(Do not taunt Almighty Liaison....Almighty Liaison, accept no substitutes...)

I just hope no UNREASONABLE ones crop up.

I heated water on the stove this morning to wash my face (and, uh, the other parts I wash first thing in the morning). I'd been using room temperature water. You forget how much more pleasant it is to wash with warm water when you haven't been able to for a while.
