Extra sleep does help.

I went to bed about 7:45 last night, read for a while, probably went to sleep around 8:30.

Part of the problem is it's allergy season here, and this year (probably because of all the rain we had earlier) is remarkably bad for people with ragweed allergies. One of my allergy symptoms is simply feeling exhausted and wiped out a lot.

I wonder - since pollen allergies basically mimic cold symptoms, in that they're a similar kind of immune system response - if the treatments recommended for colds (I mean, the home-remedy kinds) help with allergies? In that case, getting extra rest WOULD be a good idea.

Maybe I should brew up some chicken soup. And start drinking more juice.

There's a limit to how much Claritin I can take, because it dries me out too much and it also causes sleep disturbances (which I Do Not Want right now). So I kind of muddle through, making sure to change my a/c filter frequently, and dusting the house well, and washing my hair after spending any time outside.

(At least the cramps seem to be gone, at least for now.)
