No pictures - I was sort of rushing around to get out of the house this morning because I had some early prep to do for this afternoon's lab. But I did finish the first shoulder of the Greek Pullover last night, and the second one should go pretty fast. (I haven't checked to see if the pattern uses the hated "Reverse shaping of right side for left" direction cop-out. Oh, I mean I can DO it - I can figure it out - but usually when I'm knitting at the end of the day and I'm tired I have to sit down first and write it all out to be sure I don't mess it up.)

I have an Abelia bush in my front garden. It seems to be a pretty good garden plant (for a non-native) - it doesn't seem to spread much (which I can't say, sadly, for the nandinas I've been trying to get rid of for years). And it has very fragrant flowers that attract a lot of pollinators - I've seen different species of bumblebees, and the swallowtail butterflies like it, and I've also seen clearwing moths visiting it this year (I think they are all common clearwings).
And this morning - leaving the house at 6:30, I caught a glimpse of a White-lined sphinx moth visiting it too.
These are big, impressive moths - and they move differently from the ordinary moth, much more "directional" and fast. I can see why people mistake them for hummingbirds.
They are one type of moth that are welcome at my house.
