D'oh.

That quilt I talked about in the last post should be "STRAITS of Georgia." As in, the oceanic area between Vancouver Island and the rest of Canada. Not, as the original way I wrote it, as in heterosexuals in the Deep South.

A picture of one version of the quilt can be seen here, and another here. It's basically a modification of the old four-patch pattern.

I am going to use autumn colors with that sort of dusty-yellow (the "Depression fabric" yellow color) as the solid. I think it is going to be my next quilt; I kept looking at the fabric I put aside for it all weekend.
