I finally got around to updating my mantel decorations:



It's kind of a "wetland" theme, I guess, with the china thing with the birds on it (those are actually calla lilies, I guess, which aren't so much a wetland plant, but the colors and the leaves make me think of wetlands). And there are the little river rocks.

The two bears are actually a salt and pepper shaker set I've had for years - bought them at the venerable "Treasure Mart" when I lived in Ann Arbor. (The Treasure Mart is one of the things I hope is still in existence...it was a wonderful place. I used to go there a lot).

And what's that off to the left, hiding in the (artificial) grass?



None other than my tiny garden gnome, who had lived on my bookcase for quite a while!
