Well, I think all of the tumbler pieces are cut. (I say "I think" because once I started sewing, I realized I'd have to make each row longer than I calculated in order for it to have good proportions. But I have some of several of the fabrics left, so if it looks like I'm running down, I can always cut more pieces.
I got the first three rows put together:

Here's a close-up. When I was starting to sew the pieces together I sort of started wondering what I had done - it looked like they were just going to turn into a big ugly mess. But once they get together, and the rows get stitched together, they start to work:
There are a variety of fabrics in there - some from the Flea Market Fancy line, a Kaffe Fassett, some Michael Miller prints, and just some stuff I grabbed out of my stash.

That makes my fingers itch, I have lots of scraps that would be perfect for this. Must get one of those plexiglass templates for that. If cutting from strips, I could probably just put the appropriate angle on my ruler, but with scraps, I will need a template.
Better get some of the oldies finished first...
