Well, I solved the mystery of the 15* C office.

A particular individual (who will remain nameless here) was "too warm" in his office on Friday. So he shut down part of the heating system (We can do that?) and forgot to put it back on.

Fortunately, this is the kind of person I can periodically remind about his boneheaded move without him becoming angry or defensive. As in, "Oh, yeah? Well, what about that time you shut the heat down for A WHOLE LONG WEEKEND AND THEN SOME?"

Of course, people in glass houses and all that - I am prone to forgetting things so I may not spend too much "political capital" ragging on him about that.

(Though we probably BOTH will wind up ragging on yet another person - the person I referred to yesterday - who left town, doot-dee-doo, without really realizing an ice storm was imminent and got stuck somewhere. I mean, yeah, he doesn't own a tv and he doesn't listen to local radio, but STILL.)

i'm with you on the ding dong who traveled on an icy weekend. not having a tv and not listening to local radio is no reason to be uninformed. i'm sorry, but if i was travelling, i would be checking the weather. dork.

glad to hear the solution to the chilly problem.
