Mesdames, mesdemoiselles, et messieurs:

Il neige.

(I vaguely remember one time in high school French class, the teacher looking out the window, and exclaiming, "Il neige!" when it was snowing. That is my magpie brain - I remember odd bits and pieces of things from books or things other people have said [or from The Simpsons, or Futurama, or the other television shows I waste my time watching], and I want to parrot the phrases back when they are appropriate.)

It's nice lovely fat flakes. I'm sure I will have some students asking me if afternoon classes will be cancelled - I am sure they will not be - but it's kind of a welcome thing to see, living somewhere where we really did not have a winter last year.
