several Saturday-morning linkies:

Awesome "little dudes" knit-recipe. She's done ST:TNG characters, and a Marge Simpson, and a Bender...the possibilities are endless (I first thought Bev Crusher was Hermione from Harry Potter...how cute would that be for a Harry Potter-addled child? A whole set of "little dudes" so they can act out the books?)

Rather grainy/pixelated reproduction of the famous Mana Mana song from the Muppets (apparently taken from a Scandinavian dvd because there are captions under Statler and Waldorf that look like Norwegian or something). But still: It's MANA MANA for cripes' sake. One of the defining images of my childhood.

Anastasia socks, a pattern for eyelet-lace socks that won't interfere with a variegated yarn (N. B.: .pdf file)

sideways knit sock to make your Opal or other self-striping yarn look a little different.

nice rustic-looking Pine Tree Socks (I think a pair of those would make a lovely Christmas present for someone).

Fluted Bannister socks I saw the people who were doing the "Six Socks Knitalong" making these and I just assumed it was some kind of Super Sekrit Pattern that only the knitalongers were allowed access to. I guess I was mistaken.

Hanaumabay Socks. Another one to use with self-patterning yarns; cool.

Socks for Jack Sparrow. Well, I wouldn't wear 'em, but maybe he would.

Zokni socks. Gorgeous lace-leaf pattern.

See what you can find when you have several minutes of wait-time between each computer run?
