I put the binding on one of my quilts last night:
It's a Christmas (or at least winter) patterned quilt although it may be a bit hard to tell from the photo. It's got all kinds of spangly stuff on it (that glitter stuff that is sprayed on some fabrics). Most of the fabrics are from Makower, which is, I guess, a UK brand.
Here's a corner of the quilt (photo without flash so the colors may look different) showing the binding and a bit of the fabric patterns
I used the "Broken Bricks" pattern from the first M'Liss Rae Hawley fat-quarter book. The contrast wasn't ideal - some of the fabrics don't show up well against the grey "spacer" pieces - but I still like the quilt.
I'm back to working on my OWN stuff again (after spending lots of time on presents). It's kind of nice to feel like I'm finishing things. I have a number of smallish projects that are close to being finished; I've decided that these next couple weeks (before my Christmas break) I'm going to try to finish up some of the smaller stuff - the various socks I have on the needles, and Bloom, and the Art Mohair stole/scarf thing that's been on the needles for almost a year now. And maybe even attack Hiawatha again.

That's a very pretty quilt! I'm impressed how you can get everything to line up so straight.
