Yay! My e-mail is back, and it looks like all the "delayed messages" came through (including comment notification). I also had a "package slip" in my mailbox yesterday (there's been package-thefts in my neighborhood from front porches, so my mail carrier asked me if it was ok if she just left a slip for me to go pick it up if I wasn't home. Although I'd rather not HAVE to do it, if packages are being stolen in the neighborhood, I'd rather go to the post office than lose something someone sent me or something I ordered). My box from Woodland Woolworks is here! Darn, that's fast - I think I placed the order on Tuesday.

So now I can start the phi and e hats whenever I want. And I can play around and figure out the quark scarf.

I have, however, been digging out "abandoned" projects and working on them. I'm kind of in the mood now to finish some of the smaller projects I have going. I pulled out the crocheted puppy I started back in, like, January and had put aside (at one point I had had to rip back because I lost count, and then I got to the place where you had to pick up for the front legs and was all "meh" about it...). The head, body, and one front leg are done now. The other front leg, the back legs, ears, and tail remain.

I also want to start that purse out of the Happy Hooker book sometime - the one made out of the Hilos de Espiga cord. I bought some in a tan to make a "trial" model for myself, but if it turns out well, I might get a denim color or a red and make one for my sister in law for Christmas.

But like I said: right now I'm all about working on previously-abandoned projects. I've also been working some on the long-term Art Mohair scarf/stole thing...except now it has bits of leaf and such I have to pick out of it, because I took it with me to the campus environmental club yard sale last weekend, to work on while I sat there.
