Well, at least the car problem seems to be resolving. The oil leak (which could have been something very bad) was a worn gasket that they can replace easily (and I presume, not terribly expensively). And some of the other things that they said needed done...mysteriously, when I questioned them on it, they didn't need done any more (it was flushing and changing fluids that I had had flushed and changed not six months ago).
It irks me that if I had been absent-minded about that - or more trusting than I am - that I would have possibly got socked with a large bill for something that didn't need to be done. (Well, maybe - the service manager said he checked the fluids this morning when I brought it in; earlier they just told me it needed doing without checking it).
I still feel kind of cruddy. I think a big part of it is that it's like 100% humidity out there, it's supposed to get up to 80 today (in nearly November?), and I feel like I can't breathe.
