More online patterns for crocheted toys.

and from the list there: a too-cute Chihuahua that is translated from a Japanese pattern.
And another, more realistic Chihuahua (or I guess its actually a hybrid-breed called a TiChi)
And a miniature horse

And for Devorah: I don't know if you crochet or not but here's a squid purse. Its picture is here

More!

Dolphin
A "Christmas Seal" (ark, ark)
v. cute Baby Triceratops
(Aw, heck: here's the main site with links. Note that some links are "broken," and that not all the patterns are free (and some you may have to jump through "registration" hoops to get).

And one I'm not so sure about: crocheted Buddha I know that a lot of Chinese restaurants have big Buddha statues in them, and I realize the Buddha's role is somewhat different from this, but...I'd be kinda ooged out by a pattern for a crocheted Jesus. YMMV, of course.

(Dragon knitter, where do you donate them? Most of the made-stuff-requesting charities I've seen tend to ask for warm clothes and not toys...)

um, there was a charity in boston that was asking for toys. any children's hospitals will ask for toys, as well. i've even sent a few to the reservations, along with warm clothes, so the kids have something fun to cuddle with.

and then, of course, there's teddies for tragedies (although they only have one pattern, either knit or crochet, that they will allow you to use, and it's an UUUUUGLY pattern)
