holy crepe, what a day.

Between 7 this morning and now, I have
wrote a review sheet for next week's test
taught 2 classes
had e-mail communication with a student needing a make up (it didn't happen, no babysitter)
prepped tomorrow's class activity
made grading keys for three homework assignments, made an extra copy of one to be copied and hand out to class
baked a cake for the funeral. (That was on my "lunch hour")
made the main dish for a work potluck tomorrow (ditto)
dropped off the cake at the church, nearly collided with who were, I guess, the grieving son and daughter (also on my "lunch break")
ate (I think...I'm not hungry but I don't remember having eaten)
graded homework #1
met with approximately eleventy hundred people, some of whom were simply confused, some of whom were complexly confused, some of whom hadn't paid attention in class so I needed to re-deliver the lecture to them
graded homework #2
met with more people
told my colleague I didn't have time or inclination to discuss a complex matter at the moment (grr...he should know better than to hit me up on a Monday)
graded homework #3
dealt with a rather serious computer issue that a student in my evening class (doing the work early as a "guinea pig") had

and now it is time for me to go teach again.

the real joke is this is all my pms week. So I'm not exactly cheery when someone who spent the class time inspecting her nail polish or working on the homework due that very day instead of listening to the new material comes to me and needs me to re-do the lecture I already did once. Or more than once.

mid-fall break, take me away!
