Well, some good news for a change.

They sent my Department Chair's husband home - they got him stabilized. Apparently the scary heart episode was related to the pneumonia he was recovering from. She was in, briefly, this morning.

I also got the grant proposal evaluated so that's one thing off my plate. I guess I can write my exam this afternoon and maybe do some research reading and still keep my Sunday inviolate. (I don't like to do work-work on Sunday - partly because of a latent feeling of a need to keep the Sabbath somehow, but also partly for my own mental health. I need time away from my work or else I let it consume me.)
