O happy day!
The CD-ROM containing the "reprint" of my dissertation paper arrived. So now I can send out reprints (I've already had a request from Chicago Botanic Garden, which is very flattering).
If, for whatever reason, you want to read about the thing that consumed the totality of 5 1/2 years of my life (doing the dissertation), and odds and ends of the next 5 years (getting it published), and you have Adobe Reader, drop me an e-mail and I can send you a copy of the paper through e-mail via .pdf.
or, heck, I could print a copy and snail-mail it, particularly if you're into prairies or plant ecology and would want a copy for your files.
(I realize this is a bit of a grandiose statement - assuming that my readers want to see my research - but as this has BEEN my life for a goodly span of time (I mean - if I had a kid at the beginning of that time period, he'd be in fifth grade now), I think I can justify a bit of grandiosity in myself here.
