crisis averted

they actually called back! We're good to go. We can even get Domino's pizza through them to feed the kids. And it sounds like they had no other groups reserved.

(I know, I'm being a big freak about it - but where I live, you can never take for granted that:

a. your message went through
b. someone will call bac
c. the place hasn't gone out of business. Seriously, there are restaurants that closed six months ago and the signs are still prominent and the lights are sometimes on - almost like the place is still in business.)
