Argh.

As it turns out, the new unit was for the lab classrooms (LABS ARE COOL ENOUGH ALREADY THANK YOU!). So it's still sweltering in here. Technically I have Good Friday off but I came in because I need to plant my little milkweed seeds and this is the best time. Except it's like 90* in the room where I'm working.

I suppose I could load everything up on a cart and move it to one of the lab classrooms, but I'm not in the mood to heft 40 pound bags of pea gravel and soil right now. So I guess I'll just be hot. And not Paris Hilton "hot" either.

If it's like this next week when it's supposed to be in the 90s outside, I am seriously considering a bit of civil disobedience in the form of either refusing to hold my office hours, or holding them somewhere that is not my office. (I don't like the idea of cancelling them outright because why should I screw over my students just because Physical Plant seems to refuse to make the building where I have my office sufficiently comfortable? But I feel the need to do something. I just don't know what.)

Worked some on the Hiawatha stole last night. I really do want this to be done but I'm only working on repeat 6 of 10.
