Yup, folks, Monday I turn 37. I received a present from my folks (it feels like clothes. Dare I hope, something from Coldwater Creek?). My brother says he's "working" on getting me a present. (He has ALWAYS been bad about that. Frankly I'd rather have a nice card on or close to the day itself than a present six months later when I've forgotten about my birthday). I'm going to be in class allllllll day including a field trip (which should be fun as long as it's not too cold and rainy.) Tomorrow is "honors day" on campus where we try to entice encourage gifted high school students to come here, so I'm not going to have as much "fun time" as some birthday weekends. But I am still going to JoAnn's to see if I can find something fun with the latest 40% off coupon. (I have to "go south" anyway - I need to buy some foodstuffs for a candidate-luncheon we're having next week, and what I offered to make isn't available at the local Mart of Wal).
