A somewhat-anorakish article about the Rankin-Bass "Rudolph" special.

I'm hoping they re-show it. Or perhaps that a dvd will be released with the "special deleted scene" about the Peppermint Mine. (Apparently there were a couple scenes in the first version of the special that haven't been shown for YEARS. It seemed that viewers wanted more of the Island of Misfit toys and so the earlier scene was trimmed. I would argue it could be restored, if a few COMMERCIALS were trimmed during the showing. But that will probably never happen).
