Here's a progress shot on the Hiawatha shawl:

I finished the second half's set of the "Smoke of the Peace Pipe" last night.

I did look at Folk Shawls again and realized that even though the yarn specified for the Wool Peddler's Shawl is described as "superfine kid mohair," it looks like gaugewise, it's a worsted weight. So poot. I've got some 1200 or so yards of superfine laceweight alpaca in pretty autumn colors and not a pattern in mind for it.

But I DO think I found a pattern to use my Rowan "Summer Tweed" that I bought for a shrug, before I realized that my body type + shrug = bad combination. It's Cozy from last fall's Knitty. I think I have just about enough, and it should look striking in the turquoise blue "Exotic" color I bought.
