Armwarmer #1:

bluarmwarmer.JPG

I REALLY like this yarn (KnitPicks Andean Silk). I think I'm going to ask for some in the "Cinnamon" color for Christmas, to make the "Sideways Spencer" out of last fall's Interweave. It's nice to knit with, has good stitch definition, and it makes a nice, cozy fabric.

I also knit some on the back of the Bookworm vest - but then discovered after several inches my stitch count was off, and the pattern was offset - and since it's a smooth, light colored yarn the "oopsie" would be quite obvious. So I muttered a few unladylike words, sighed, and ripped back to a point where I could recover from. I'm going to have to do a bit of creative decreasing on one side, too - it looks like I got off three stitches somehow but I don't think it's a big enough deal to go ALLLLLL the way back to the start of the armholes.
