Feeling better today.

Part of it is, I got done a couple of things hanging over my head (exams are all typed and sent off to the printer). I also took care of the issue I talked about Monday afternoon - the guy who was rude to me was out for the day, so I wound up dealing with his assistant, who was nothing but pleasant. And, in a week, this won't really matter anyway, I'll be in Illinois, and I won't have to worry about any of this, at least for a while.

Also, a cold front came through (and this is how heat-addled I've been - yesterday evening I was watching its progression on the regional radar channel - indicated by the bands of rain - and I was cheering it on: "COLD front! COLD front! COLD front! C'mon, you can do it, don't fall apart, keep on pushing!"). It's about 20 degrees cooler this morning than it was yesterday. And we have rain. I find rain very soothing, particularly after a long stretch of hot, dry weather.

Here's a somewhat out-of-focus shot of how far I am on the second Bookworm vest. It's taken without flash so it's a little dark, but the colors are fairly true:
