Knitted, we are. Crafty, we are.

I want one. (or should that be "Mmmmm. One, I want."?)

I suppose that will go somewhere in the "someday when I have the time to noodle along with some designing" pile, along with the knitted tardigrade I want to make and haven't quite figured out how to do yet. (Oh, I have some ideas - i-cord for the clawlike extensions on the legs, and maybe a garter-stockinette banding for the back of the body, but I'm still not sure how to shape the head - I think it would take short-rows and as I've said before, short-rows and I aren't exactly good friends - and it's just one of those things there never seems to be time to really play around with).

Actually, I'd probably be money ahead trying to make a toy tardigrade out of cloth - I do have some mad skillz when it comes to designing SEWN critters - but somehow, I like the idea of a knitted one. And I do have the perfect yarn in-stash for it.
