Aw crud.

Spent several hours cleaning my office looking for a grant-budget paper, just to find the grant had expired May 31 without my spending most of the money.

It's really hard to do research - even small-scale research - when you're teaching as many hours as I do, doing as much "service" as I do, and when responsible student workers are tough to come by.

Hopefully they'll still pay the $750 in soil samples that my coworker and I had processed BEFORE the deadline (but for which we didn't receive the bill until AFTER the deadline. I really thought it was June 30, not May 31).

Oh well. Part of the life of the disorganized.
