Happiness is having ordered some equipment from a company that regularly changes its specs, and having only a very dodgy hope that it would work with previously existing equipment, and finding that it does, perfectly.

The shorter version: lab will go smoothly tomorrow. I have four set-ups rather than merely one, which gives people less time to sit and wait and complain about the wait.

More happiness: finding that your schedule, falls together just right, and that I won't have to change either one of the two meetings I have Wednesday morning.

Still more: my milkweed seeds have begun germinating. So far the cold-moist stratification treatment is beating out the outdoor-exposure treatment in terms of germination. That's interesting, because the cold-moist got more consistent cold temperature than the outdoor treatment, and these things aren't supposed to have a dormant period that's broken by cold exposure.

Still more: I have a meeting in about an hour and after that I can go HOME. I am ready for tomorrow.
