I'm closing in on finishing the Joan of Arc stole. I am finding that I need that extra ball of Legend. But then again, I like long, enveloping stoles, and I have broad shoulders, so the "crochet to 52" long" just wasn't doing it for me. So I've fixed on the first of the three extra balls and am working away, trying it on every five rows or so, so I can check to see when it's Just the Right Length.
I have three extra balls of the Legend to play with.
I will say I'm hoping to have enough of the Legend left for the one-skein beret, and (dare I hope) enough for a little pair of mittens. Or at least, enough for trim on a little pair of mittens. (I'm thinking, black mittens with the Legend as cuff trim. Oh, I know. Black doesn't go with my winter coat. But I don't know what else would look so nice with the Legend).
I'll have to consult my copy of Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns to see if I dare hope to have enough.
