Got up to the thumb gusset on the first glove yesterday, and added a few rows to the multidirectional diagonal scarf. (This was done in the couple-of-hours break I had between my morning classes - which end at noon - and my evening class at five. I had an evening meeting right after my evening class, and didn't get home until after 9, so I would have really been hurting if I had had a full, full day of work without that break. As it is, I'm tired and uninspired today. I don't like being out in the evenings.)
Don't know how much knitting I'll get done this week - Wednesday is, as always, a busy day (full class day then the youth group thing). Thursday I lose the Whole. Stinking. Day. to meetings - and I mean the Whole Day. I have to leave here at 5:30 (the meetings are 2 1/2 hours away) and I probably won't get back until well after 7 pm. On a normal Thursday, I have one class, so normally it's a pretty easy day. And they're not FUN meetings, not like research-meetings. I don't get to present. I get to listen. For eight hours. Sigh. Friday will be catching up and prepping for next week (including grading the exam I give on Wednesday) because Saturday is an all-day youth group trip. And Sunday, I teach Sunday School. I will be a crispy critter after this week. I need a lot of "downtime," especially time to be by myself and somewhere where it's quiet. I don't forsee getting a lot of that after today this week.
