Picture time!
First of all, here's the best shot I was able to get of the orchid in my front yard:
And second, here's a picture of the Joan of Arc shawl in-progress. I'm on the second to last ball. I'm starting to get concerned again that I won't have enough yarn to complete it.
Been working on a variety of things - a bit on the quilt, a bit of stitching on the Snowman quilt (I'm getting close to done with the blocks - all 99 of them), a bit of work on the shawl, and currently, working on the Tilling the Soil vest.
Also got my first order of materials for Christmas presents - the Kureyon for a Booga Bag for my sis-in-law. (I'm thinking, just thinking, about doing gloves for my mother. I only ever did the fingertipless, pop-up type gloves - a set for my brother and one for my dad - but I might track down some nice, pretty, sportweight wool and use the pattern in the Vogue mittens and gloves book for her). And, no, don't ask if I ordered anything for myself....
