Oh, my gosh.

You can truly find anything on the internet if you know how and where to look.

For months, I was haunted with the memory of a show I used to watch when I was a very small child. I knew it had a rather selfish pink bird in it, a larger, greenish, kindly-but-naive-or-maybe-dumb ostrich like bird, and that there were kids in it. I remembered an episode about brushing one's teeth and about a tasting party.

Then, the other night, just on the verge of sleep, the name "Fumble" (as the green ostrich thing) floated up out of my memory.

So I typed in "fumble green bird" in Google, and look what turned up:

The Show!

It's called "The Most Important Person" and now I know I'm not nuts, that it actually existed.
