Well, I e-mailed Handworks Gallery. I think they open at 10 central time so maybe my question will be among the first ones they get today. I hope they still have some of that dyelot left; I'd rather be left with a ball or two to play with rather than be caught short.

A check of the FCEK page mentions no errata for the shawl - but if I find it takes more yarn than called more (more than the few yards that intraball variation could lead to), I'm definitely writing them to complain.
