Knitting:
I finished the main body of the Prairie Stripes afghan, and am s*l*o*w*l*y adding the borders, which are in garter stitch. They're very tedious to do - pick up about a million stitches, the count of which doesn't match the count on the pattern, but if I matched the count on the pattern, I'd either have big gaps or contracted edges, and then knit in garter stitch, adding one stitch every other row. This does make nice neat mitered edges (that still have to be sewn), but as I said it's incredibly slow and it's frustrating to wrestle a full sized afghan.
When I'm done with this, I'm done with LB Homespun for a while. I'm getting quite sick of this yarn.
