Why I love my job, entry 537:

Today, in the lab class I teach, we tested the effect of flocking and odd prey behavior by throwing tennis balls and trying to catch them (starting with one ball at a time and working up to four). In my 3 pm lab, there weren't enough students to make a full set of groups so I got to throw and catch.

Next week, we try to tick off male betta fish with different shaped and colored paper cutouts, and draw conclusions about what is the aggression trigger in bettas.

There is NO WAY anyone in corporate America gets to have this much fun.
