Well, this is a good way to end the week!

I just got in the mail a set of PROOFS for a paper - a paper I hadn't even heard had been accepted. This was a reanalysis and write up that my mother and I did of her doctoral dissertation work from the 60s - which had never been published (I was a little leery of submitting them; some journals would reject the data out of hand as being too old.)

Apparently, it's going to be in one of the 2004 issues of Michigan Botanist.

So now, I know what one of my weekend tasks will be - to check over the galley proofs. But that's a good task to have.
