This is one of my weekend purchases (Beaker, not the sockyarn. I've had that for a while). I am quite surprised at the detail on the Beaker figure; he is about a foot tall and is made by the Palisades Toys company.
Just one of the random things that shows up at the Target nearest me, on the clearance shelves. Apparently the original price was about $25, which is a bit much for even me, but it was marked down to $12.
I've figured out what I need this evening. First, a cup of Lipton chicken soup (yes, I know, sodium, but it's the only thing that appeals) and a peanut butter sandwich. Then, quickly finish what I must do, and then go to bed and read. Probably on one of the "Series of Unfortunate Events" books; those always cheer me up when I'm in a bad or blue mood.
