It's been a while since I had a science link, but here's one:

Mite Picture Gallery. Ran across this while looking for more information (and hopefully pictures) of mite domatia, which are areas on leaves (pockets or tufts of hair) that provide "homes" for predatory mites that would feed on mites bent on eating the plant.

Alas, no domatia pictures that I've been able to find. But the picture gallery is v. cool and if you click on a mite, you get a short description of it.
