So, I now own a Sony Mavica. But no easy way to post pictures, thanks to Blogger's decision to "rethink" their "offerings." I'm going to have to search for a photo-hosting site I could do the old "img src" thing from.

I don't want a site I just have to link to, and I ESPECIALLY don't want a site that would make you, my readers, register, just to see my photos. (Because I suspect that That Way Lies Spam and I don't want to be responsible for my readers getting spammed). Ah well, a research project I suppose.

I worked some on the vest this weekend; I'm working on the back now and am a little more than midway through the armhole decreases. I'm not sure what my next big project will be, or if I'm better off finishing the small projects. I do have some 1824 cotton in-stash for another Sitcom Chic, and it's getting to the time of year when I pack my wool things away and pull out the cotton ones. And then it will be time for Short Sleeves, All The Time, at least until the summer semester when they put the airconditioning on full blast.

I did a bit on the Canal du Midi socks; I'm contemplating whether I want to go the long haul with these (it's a twisted stitch pattern and it changes every single row; I've not yet got the hang of it that I don't have to consult the pattern every few seconds) or whether to rip off all those hours of effort and start anew on something simpler.
