thanks to reading this nugget on Kristi's blog, I now have something to be happy about concerning my upcoming birthday (Feb. 27):

this year, I will now officially be old enough to run for president.

yup, I could run for president after Feb. 27. (would I actually do that? As Adam Rove on "Joan of Arcadia" says, "sha!". actually, I can't think of a job I'd want LESS, but still, it looks like more of a milepost and less of a "damn, I'm getting old" this way)
