Looked at my calendar and realized this was the last weekend for quite a while that I wouldn't HAVE to be involved with work-related things, so I decided to take a Weekend of Slackdom and not go in and work on research (the campus server has been taken off line for maintenance, anyway) and not be the eager-beaver who writes the first exam three weeks ahead of when it is needed (and thus, has to retool it when not all the material that was supposed to be covered got covered).

I'm motoring away on the Kilimanjaro Kat Shawl. I'm closing in on the magic row of 11 pawprints, after which I begin decreasing. It is quite exciting. I'm even on the right count! I plan to at least get as far as the first few rows of decreasing, to establish that pattern in my mind, before I put this aside for something else.

It's also a cold, foggy weekend here - good for staying in, knitting, and watching the Spongebob marathon.
